Post Trauma Stress Syndrome

Lisa Lorimer-Derham, our local psychologist at Alexandra Community Care at Alexandra Hospital explained to Rotarians and their guests at the Alexandra Rotary club meeting on the 17th of February that we all react differently to traumatic events. Lisa has focused her current professional development into the area of post traumatic stress and its treatment with a special emphasis on children. As a result she has access to the most current thinking, diagnostic tools and treatment.
